Struggles of Faith

This week in chapel witnessed five emotional testimonies on personal struggles of faith. Today's in particular was so moving that I had trouble holding back tears. It wasn't his story that touched me, it wasn't his voice, but his confession; confession of his struggle to love and accept his wife whose personality was changed after being in a coma. It was evidence that God's strength had guided him to speak so publicly and so openly to the crowd, amidst feelings of anguish and pain within. We were all affected so strongly by his willingness to take up the challenge and reveal his struggles to the Christian family, and I am sure that many will have left chapel this morning in deep thought...
